Terms of Service

1. Commissions & Deposits

All custom work requires a non-refundable deposit (typically $50-$100) to secure a spot on the schedule. This deposit covers initial design time and material allocation. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the work, prior to shipping. Work not paid for within 30 days of completion may be sold to the public.

2. Warranty & Repairs

We guarantee our craftsmanship for life. If a tool fails due to a defect in materials or heat treatment, we will repair or replace it at no cost.

Exceptions: This warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear (scratches, patina, dulling of the edge over time).
• Damage caused by abuse (e.g., prying, batoning through rocks/nails, throwing knives that aren't throwers).
• Damage caused by improper maintenance (rust due to neglect).

3. Age & Legal Responsibility

By purchasing a knife from Ironwood Forge, you certify that you are at least 18 years of age. You are solely responsible for knowing and complying with the knife laws in your jurisdiction (state/country). Ironwood Forge is not liable for any injury, damage, or legal issues resulting from the misuse or illegal possession of our tools.
